The restaurant was nice for dinner, I tried tasty dishes. Its beds were very comfy. The staff were friendly all the time of my stay. Also, location was favourable, at a short distance from a small solitary temple. Furthermore, the area was very pleasant.

I booked it many times and recommend. It was fairly clean, staff was efficient and attentive. Loved staying here, my room was brand-new and fashionable and had coffee and a kettle. Bed and pillows were extremely comfy. The hotel had good location short walk to Borobudur temple, Prembanan temples and walking distance of about 300m to ticket office. The provided service was good!

The hotel has convenient and unbeatable location short walk to the nearest shops, and the temples or other restaurants. The staff were attentive all of the time. I stayed here before, always brand-new and neat rooms with garden view.

The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the restaurant nearby offered some great Indonesian food. The hotel's location was perfect for us, with some interesting villages and temples within biking distance. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping service and the complimentary bottles of water and fruits.

We loved the spacious rooms with comfy beds and clean sheets. The hotel staff were really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The hotel facilities were modern and clean, including the large pool and relaxing outdoor garden. Breakfast had a good selection of simple but tasty options.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Magelang for Easter and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and even went out of their way to arrange a special surprise for our daughter's birthday. The location was perfect, just a short distance from key attractions. the pool was fantastic and allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel was a bit dated and we encountered some issues with hot water in our room. Although the staff was quick to attend to the problem, it happened more than once which was inconvenient.

Our stay near Borobudur temple was an enjoyable and comfortable experience. The hotel features a lovely long pool and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was always available and willing to help us make the most of our stay. The breakfast offered a great selection of Indonesian cuisine, which we found delicious.

The outside noise of the early morning prayers and live music was sometimes too loud.

The spacious bathroom was filled with natural light, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. We appreciated the included amenities such as the kettle with instant coffee and tea bags in the room, as well as the drying rack outside the door. The hotel's beautiful dining room featured a stunning ceiling made from natural materials, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to different culinary preferences. We also enjoyed the all-day restaurant, where we savored delicious food and exceptional coffee. The staff, including Christine, were incredibly gracious and helpful throughout our stay. we highly recommend Shankara Borobudur for its prime location, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and excellent service.
